AnalyseThe climate of The Mediterranean Biome has determined the biome in a way that only such plants with certain adaptations can survive in its conditions. This means that there isn't much diversity in the plant type. Mostly just bushes, shrubs and short trees. Not to say that there isn't some great plants in The Mediterranean Biome!
The Mediterranean Biome is located between 30 degrees north and south of the equator in; Australia, South Africa, California, United States. In the summer it is very hot and dry with temperature around 40 degrees Celsius and in Winter it is quite mid at around 10 degrees Celsius. Droughts are very common in these areas. |
