Climate
Mediterraneans have from 20mm to 100mm of rain per year. The climates are usually between 30 and 40 degrees celsius. Mediterranean biomes are located at 30 degrees north or south of the equator. These latitudes are warm, the wet air that rises from the equator has cooled falling over the equator. The air mass left over then spreads outwards falling in these areas as very dry air. This would usually cause deserts. However in The Mediterranean Biome where there is an adjacent body of water that will offset the dryness of falling air.
